A Tribute to Steve Irwin


Not many people make this journey. The trek is long. The path is dangerous. Poisonous plants can infect the flock. Wild animals can attack the team.

There are narrow trails and dark valleys. Some chose the security of the barren pastures below. He knows the paths. He knows the risks. He walked this trail many times. Besides, he was prepared to even lose his life.

Steve Irwin understood this annual pilgrimage. Yesterday 4th Sep 2006, news reported that a stingray shot its poisonous barb into his heart. He died at the age of 44. This is one man who brought the world closer to the wildlife....
